Education programs in Cambodia and Thailand

Our education and adolescent development programs provide vulnerable teenagers in rural Thailand and Cambodia with the tools needed to break the cycle of poverty and build independent futures.

Through scholarships, business skill development, and comprehensive life skills courses—covering health, financial literacy, and safety—we empower at-risk youth with the confidence, knowledge, and qualifications necessary to access dignified employment and long-term opportunity.

BREAKING CYCLES OF POVERTY: BURMESE MIGRANT EDUCATION IN THAILAND

Children of Burmese migrant families who fled Myanmar to find informal, unskilled work in Thailand face immense systemic barriers, locking them out of local schools and reinforcing cycles of hardship. Our comprehensive sponsorship initiative delivers the holistic care and resources needed to keep these children safely in the classroom.

This program is made possible through a partnership with The New Light Foundation and the Labor Promotion Network in Thailand,

  • Tuition & School Enrollment: Covering all fees to secure safe admission and ongoing legal placement in a schooling program at the Community Development Center (CDC) in Phanga, Thailand

  • Daily Nutrition: Providing two balanced meals every school day so students never have to learn on an empty stomach.

  • Classroom Essentials: Sponsoring full sets of school uniforms, learning materials, and required textbooks.

  • Healthcare & Well-Being: Supplying vital health insurance coverage and preventative checkups to protect vulnerable youth.

  • Holistic Family Support: Delivering supplemental care and community support to keep families stable and children off the worksite.
